Events: Talent Show Contest 2006

On Wednesday 13th December Mr. Guiney’s Year 11 Prom Committee organised a fund raising Talent Show Contest which was keenly contested with students from all year groups. £120 was raised in total which will go towards banners, posters, and other such stuff for the Prom which is calendared for 28th June 2007 and which should be a great night. Thank you to students and staff who came along

The star performer was Megan Parsons who won the first heat with a break-taking solo performance. However, heat 2 was won by the intelligently titled group ‘The Band with No Name’, although perhaps Ben Fox’s head banging was a bit much!!! Other acts included Marie’s wonderful hula-hooping, Taya’s incredible drum majorette act, George and Natasha’s duet, the Twelve Days of Christmas, and Chloe n’ Zoë.

The audience whooped with joy and a great time was had by one and all. Merry Christmas!
