Gifted and Talented Workshop in PrintmakingOver two days forty students from the Gifted and Talented list in Year 8 explored printmaking with fantastic results. Students showed themselves to be original and creative exploring a theme of sea life. They worked with the artist Annette Newman who is a specialist in Printmaking. They were very successful in creating prints which were of a professional finish. All enjoyed and took a lot from the day; some students didn’t know each other and made new friends when creating work in pairs and when reviewing the day’s progress. The original artwork will be on display in the school from September.
