Pupil Art Gallery

Hat Making Competition

For one of Year 8's last lessons they explored making hats with limited materials:

  • One sheet of colour paper
  • A sheet of newsprint
  • A length of masking tape

This group showed themselves to be one of the most original and imaginative groups of the day they had only 30 minutes to create their hat design. Miss Johns and Miss Allen really had the most wonderful lesson and the students were a delight to be with, much laughter was heard to be ringing around the art rooms that day!
