Year 10 Cromer and Blickling Trip 2007

The purpose of this trip was to experience working from direct observation in various environments so we choose the seaside and a country house. The students took photos and created sketches which could be either worked up to finished drawings or to be the starting point for paintings in the coming unit.

Some people enjoyed the opportunity to have an ice cream or bag of chips!

In their work they had the chance to work with Tyrel Broadbent a fulltime artist from Dereham, in his work he also uses local places and unusual viewpoints - something the students were also aiming for.

There are a lot of photos here so as students can access the images for use in their sketch books. So can’t wait to get the paintings on the go!
